Is SweetLife a medical device?
No. SweetLife is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment. It is a companion tool for tracking and education. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to your diabetes management.
Is my health data safe?
Your data is synced to your account in our cloud database, sent over encrypted connections and encrypted where it's stored. Only you, and family members you choose to share with, can see it. If you use Chug, the details it needs to answer are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI, and we ask your permission first. Your data is never sold or shared with advertisers, and you can export it or delete your account at any time. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
What is Chug?
Chug is your friendly AI companion built into SweetLife. You can chat with Chug about diabetes management, ask questions about carb counting, get encouragement, and more. Chug is powered by AI and provides general education and support -- it does not replace professional medical advice.
Can I use SweetLife for Type 2 diabetes?
Yes. While SweetLife was designed with Type 1 diabetes in mind, it works great for anyone managing diabetes. Features like blood glucose tracking, meal logging, and exercise tracking are useful for both T1D and T2D management.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. To cancel, go to your device's subscription settings and cancel from there. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Can I export my data?
Yes. You can generate reports of your blood glucose readings, insulin doses, and other logged data from within the app. These reports can be shared with your healthcare provider or saved for your records.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can delete all your data from the Profile section in the app. Go to Profile, then select "Delete Account." This will permanently remove all your data from the app and our servers.
Does SweetLife work with CGMs?
CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) integration is planned for a future update. Currently, you can manually log your blood glucose readings. Stay tuned for announcements about CGM support.
Is SweetLife available in other languages?
SweetLife currently supports English and Spanish. We plan to add more languages in future updates based on user demand.
